Geoanna was built in Long Beach Californien 1934 by Craig Shipbuilding company. She was bought by the 7 Up Bottelling Company. Donald K. Washburn was the president of the company.
She was acquired by the Maritime Commission in february 1942. She was first in service at the 11th naval district and stationed at San Pablo for the Port Directory.
In july 1943 she was handed over to the Cost Guard and used as operational training ship.
In august 1943 she was handed over to the army.
She was after the war sold to Edward M. Grimm who registered her as a motor yacht 129 tons, 115 ft long, 22 ft wide and 13 ft deep at the Customin the port of Manila, Philippines. She change name to Lannikai II.
Remaining in the Philippines she was sold to a Swedish owner.
